Johnson drove this "preview" paint scheme in the UAW-GM Quality 500 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday October 15, 2005. Johnson started the race in 3rd position and led 13 laps, including the final 2 laps of the race to earn the victory for Hendrick Motorsports. Kurt Busch finished 2nd in his Irwin Vise-Grip Ford for Roush Racing.
