Dale Earnhardt Sr. started the Budweiser 500 in fourth place at Dover Downs International Speedway on June 3, 1990! His engine blew early in the race and the crew swapped it out in the garage in 90 Minutes. It was enough to get him back in the race where he finished 31st, and earned 12 Points. Making that "Engine Change" instead of accepting a DNF allowed Dale to earn another championship by 24 points.
