This #88 Amp diecast reflects one of two primary paint schemes Jr drove during the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Earnhardt's best finish in this paint scheme was a 2nd place effort in the Tums QuickPak 500 at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday October 19, 2008. Earnhardt started the race in 10th position. Teammate Jimmie Johnson dominated that race, leading 339 of the 504 laps, to earn the victory Hendrick Motorsports.

This is Dale Jr's 2008 Amp standard paint scheme in Platinum. Only 25 of these cars were ever made. I got this directly from RCCA. It comes in its original box, sleeve, and jewel box. Taken out of the box for this photo only. Never been displayed.
Note in the DCR Price Guide how this diecast is holding its value just over $500. While many of the other Platinum and White Gold cars are decreasing in value, this diecast is holding steady. We think that this is because of the fact that this is Jr's first non-Bud standard paint scheme.
