Dale Earnhardt Sr drove this GM Goodwrench paint scheme in the Brickyard 400 race at Insianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday August 5, 2000. Earnhardt started in 8th position and finished 8th. Rusty Wallace had the dominant car, as he led 110 of the 160 laps. However, Bobby Labonte passed Wallace with 15 laps remaining, and led all of those 15 laps to earn the victory in his Interstate Batteries Pontiac for Joe Gibbs Racing.
